Apple Certification

Apple recently reinvented it’s core software, building on top of a rock-solid UNIX foundation that has been refined by the computer science community for four decades. Integrating hundreds of open source projects with innovative new technologies, Apple’s new platform is truly the world’s most advanced operating system.

Now more than ever, certification is important to verify deep understanding of this powerful blend of old and new technology. Brent Kearney has achieved the highest level of accreditation available for Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server. He is presently one of only 21 ACSA 10.5 certified people in Canada.*

From Apple’s website:

Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA) 10.5 certification verifies an in-depth knowledge of Apple technical architecture and an ability to install and configure machines; architect and maintain networks; enable, customize, tune, and troubleshoot a wide range of services; and integrate Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, and other Apple technologies within a multi-platform networked environment. ACSA certification is intended for full-time professional system administrators and engineers who manage medium-to-large networks of systems in complex multiplatform deployments.
